This is a very nice example of the rare American Flyer 741
Handcar and Shed set.  The 740
handcar is one of the nicest that we have seen and the shed
is definitely one of the nicest we have seen.  The shed is perfectly clean inside also.  Overall, the set has great patina and is
exceptionally clean.  Comes complete with the original instructions and the half track that was included.  The box for the handcar comes with the insert.  It is
probably an 9 on a 1-10 scale. The box for the 741 set however is
probably only a 6 or 7. They are basically very flimsy to begin with and it is somewhat dry on the top and the label is faded, but still readable.   It did though
keep the 741 set in top condition.  Makes a great layout
piece or
collection piece. Please see photos to confirm condition.
