This item is a pdf file which tells you how I can refill my own CO2 tanks. I can refill them for less than $1.25 per 8.5 cubic feet of CO2. This will show you exactly how I do it and explain the math necessary to know ahead of time how much gas a tank will hold and what pressure you can expect before you do it.
Please keep in mind that I often do things which are not smart and this also may be one of them. If you don’t know what you are doing you can easily build pressures beyond bursting. also once a tank is refilled as per DOT regs you shouldn’t transport it. you also should not try to refill a leased tank or one which is not solely owned by you. I take no responsibility for anything anyone else does.
