This is solid-wall tubing, designed to carry air between the pump/compressor and a diffuser in an aeration system. Made to work in all weather, even the cold, this self-sinking hose will provide many years of service. Due to its weight, it will not float and requires no added weights during installation. Installation is easy and quick, compared to non-weighted tubing which requires added weights to keep it down.

Compressors can get extremely hot. Most installations will benefit from using a manifold such as
EasyPro ERP1V
or a short section of heater hose between the compressor and the self-sinking hose connection to dissipate heat. 2-3 feet of heater hose is generally sufficient.
